THE GRILLED CHEESE CHAMP

Today was a monumental day for ILTC - the record for the most grilled cheese sandwiches eaten in one meal, was broken by Alex Morse. Alex broke the previous record of 10 grilled cheese sandwiches, which was eaten during Kallah. Alex ate 11 grilled cheeses to become the Grilled Cheese Champ. When asked why he did it, he replied "It's one of my favorite foods in the world, adn the sheer glory for the record pushed me to break the record."

One spectator watched in amazement as Alex ate 2 sandwiches at a time to speed up his time. Alex was eating sandwiches so quickly that the Hagasha was always up getting more food. Jeff Ravinsky who also tried to break the record said of Alex's feat, "If I had to loose to somebody, it was with great honor that I lost to Alex Morse - he who can eat 11 grilled cheeses and still be hungry." So maybe next time grilled cheese is served, somebody else will take over Alex's position, but until then he will be known as the "Grilled Cheese Champ."
